Submission Information

Abstract Requirements

  • There is no requirement that research be original or unpublished.
  • The emphasis of the conference is presenting ideas to a non-expert audience.  The review process will give significant weight to the extent to which your abstract is free of technical jargon.  If a particular technical concept is central to your proposal, ensure that it is sufficiently explained.
  • It is important that the abstract explain how the proposed contribution relates to this year’s theme: Innovation & Sustainability.  Remember that this theme is being interpreted in the very broad frame of the social, economic, and environmental impacts of sustainability.
  • There is a limit of 250 words for the abstract (no full paper is required for this conference). The application form provides a preset space for the abstract and abstract summary.  Do not modify this space or the text properties.

Submission Process

The conference is no longer accepting abstracts. Please direct inquiries about your abstract submission to .

Submission Tips

  • On the submission form, you will be given the option to choose among multiple forums to present your research.  The more options you give to the reviewers, the greater your chances of acceptance.
  • If you have more than one idea for the conference, please fill out separate submission forms for each idea.
  • To participate in the conference, you will be expected to register once you are accepted.  Early bird registration is FREE. It's open until April 17, 2009.   Registration after this date is $15.
