Frequently Asked Questions
Q. For the poster session, am I required to create a new poster or can I reuse a poster from a previous conference?
A. Posters from previous conferences will be accepted. Please note that you will be expected to speak to your poster for a non-expert audience. The abstract you submit for your poster should reflect this non-expert focus and not be the abstract taken directly from your poster.
Q: For the presentation sessions, can I reuse a presentation from a previous conference?
A. There is no requirement that the research be original or that it not have been presented elsewhere. Please note that you will be expected to present to a non-expert audience.
Q: For the panel sessions, am I required to specify all of the other panellists?
A. No. The proposing of other panellists is optional. Providing ideas for panellists will make the panel easier to organize and will thus be taken into consideration in the review process.
Q. If I am unavailable to present my work myself, can I still submit an abstract?
A. No. You must be available during the dates of the conference in order to submit.
Q. Will I need to submit a full paper sometime after submitting my abstract?
A. No. Only a 250 word abstract is required for this conference.
